Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to information when you use the ModelHop Android app ("the app") and this website. The app is published by JoZarqa ("we", "us").

In short: there are no accounts. The 3D models you open are read and shown on your phone and never sent to us. The app shows ads through Google AdMob, and Google collects some device information for that purpose. Where the law requires it, you are asked for consent first.

1. What we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, payments or location. We run no servers for your files, so we never receive the models you open, measure or export. The app uses no analytics or crash-reporting services.

2. Your files

Files you pick or share to the app are copied into the app's private storage so they can be shown again from its library, together with a small preview image. They stay on your phone. Exports are saved only where you choose, or handed to the app you share them with.

3. Ads and Google AdMob

The app is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob. When ads are shown, Google, as an independent provider, may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and operating-system details, approximate location derived from the IP address, and how you interact with ads, to deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Google handles this information under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. We do not receive this data and do not sell personal information. We never show an ad when you open a file or on top of the 3D view.

4. Your choices

• Consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other places where it is required, the app asks for consent (Google's User Messaging Platform) before ads are requested. You can change your choice later in Settings, Ad privacy choices.
• Advertising ID. Reset or delete it in Android Settings, Privacy, Ads.
• Delete data. Long-press a model in the library and remove it, or clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. We hold no copy, so there is nothing to delete on a server.

5. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

6. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
